Summer Build Off 2024 - Get Ready!

I'm feeling that this time around, I might step out of my comfort zone and build an FSO.

An extra long scale, double reverse P, headless, exotic Aussie timber FSO, but an FSO all the same

I look forward to the options for basses allowed by abbreviation.

That's EXACTLY what I meant.

In an attempt to legitimise that, here's an anecdote.

I posted a video of my 10 string fretless from with WBO on YouTube before I worked out how to intonate it (the octave strings needed to be slightly sharp in order for my fingers to play both notes at the same pitch). Working on the "any publicity is good publicity" philosophy, I have a video with 80k views with horrendous intonation that I intend to leave on YouTube. The internet was not kind, and for every "nice bass" comment, I got a "dude, you can't play fretless for s$&t!"

I may as well keep the public viewpoint going!

I mean, I don't have a P bass and I certainly don't have a Star bass... but with the right imagination, I suppose anything is possible, right?
