Superstitious rituals?

What do you guys do before a gig, our do you have to have something, say something, have people on stage some way?

I put bobble heads on my amp, they dance, and clean my basses before. As a band we take a shot of black velvet and say a prayer. lol.

So what do you do?

Draw a pentagram in the center of the stage using all of the salt from the salt shakers at the bar, light some black candles at the five points of the pentagram, sacrifice a goat in the center of the pentagram, and we're pretty much good to go.

Yeah, my band plays surf music........

I used to play in a band with a drummer who had severe ocd. It would take him forever to do all these wierd rituals, touching things in a certain order and counting. It was kinda sad. Would take him a half hour.

My drummer takes a good 45 minutes, and that's the cocktail kit. In his defense, it's all legit(adjusting, tuning, etc- no ritualitic silliness), & he is WELL worth it.
