Surf green - Seafoam green

I just sold this Partsocaster on eBay. I'm pretty sure that was an MM body, and they advertise the color as Seafoam. But it's actually closer to Surf.

Here's the best side-by-side comparison I've seen. These are Fender Custom Shop Jazzmasters at the 2003 Winter NAMM show.

Third from the left is Sea Foam, the one next to it is Surf.

What is the first one on the left? I have a 1988 jazz in roughly that color. Quite frankly, I hate the color. Just curious.

Just bought one of these the other day in Surf Green. Great little guitar, the lipstick pickups really nail the surf sound and look. I'll be moding my Bronco bass to the same body color and installing a GFS lipstick pickup in it and a pic guard to match the strat. That should make a nice pair for those summer surf gigs.

Latest Guitar Center flyer advertises a SFR surf green Precision, maple board with black blocks.
