SURINE Club?

Scott's basses are some of the best basses on the market(and I don't mean that lightly). The consistency in quality and craftsmanship is with out a doubt beyond top notch.

I have yet to play A Surine bass that I didn't feel or played exceptionally well.

And I've been a Surine endorser for many years.

Jauqo, your experience w/Surines, including the model Scott named after you, is well known to those of us who love Surine basses. I would probably have to cede member #1 status to you, without doubt. With just 3 of us chiming in, it's going to be a really small club.

I briefly owned a 6 string Surine. I felt that the build quality, playability, and tone of that particular bass was below average. It's the only Surine I've owned/played so I won't judge his company based on that one.

One less string and I might have held onto it.

One of the stranger deals I got at GC. I was told someone had traded this in for some effects pedals. It was tagged at $1,000.
:bassist:

I'm a Spector guy by Tone , But I played a surine 5 that was absolutly the best instrument I have ever played, bar none. Of course it was gone when I came back the next day to buy it. Everything I did on that bass was perfect and came out exactly how I intended it to. Once the kids move out, I will have one! lol One of the few basses out there that is definatly worth every penny.

This was my first 6 string, and my first custom made bass. I loved it. The tone, playability, craftsmanship, fit and finish... all top notch. But I was intimidated by 6 strings, and sold it. :(

I'd LOVE to have another one!
