SX Pino Palladino precision anyone?

Why do so many people here "hate Behringer policies" and won't buy Behringer stuff for that reason and at the same time nobody seems to have a problem with SX? That's more identical to the original than any Behringer product I've seen.

Some people think if it's good and copies well it's good. If it's alright and copies OK, it's crap. Not that I have a problem with Behringer. I have a BX4500H and love it!

The P is a perfect bass in it's elegant simplicity.

Pop a high quality pickup in (heck, you might not even need to!), and you would for sure have a tough time telling the tone of the 2 basses apart...

I'm going to disagree with you on this one. I have an SX P and a couple of Fender Ps. I had the chance to try out an actual Pino Sig P. It was quite possibly the sweetest sounding best playing P I've ever laid my hands on. SX does not come anywhere close to the Pino, IMO. If you ever have a chance to play one, I highly recomend doing so just to say you did if for nothing else. After I played, I could almost justify the $3k+ price tag on it. It is bad. Even with a switched out pup, the SX wouldn't be close. It would be a smokin' hot looking guitar that would sound great, but still not the Pino.

I can't believe how close they are....well at least in looks!!!! Do the SX basses really sound good or just ok? I checked out that Rondo music site and was pretty impressed with their copies of popular basses.

Does anyone have an SX jazz bass or SX fretless and if so, how do they compare to Fenders in your opinion?
