Revival of an old thread!!

It took a while to find this thread unfortunately. Seems that the powers that be don't have any love for synth bass. Oh well....

I bought a Venom synth a while back and messed around on it from time to time. Recently I've gotten serious about having some real chops in the synthbass arena. Listening to and playing along to classic funk, new wave and synthpop music. It's a lot of fun. For instance, Zapp, P-Funk, B-52s, DEVO, etc. Some challenging music for a non piano trained player. Now I'm wishing my Mom had made me take piano as a youth! LOL

Anyway, I'm loving this and wish there was a dedicated sub-forum for this subject!!
