Talk bass app

I tried to install it for my new iPad and found that it no longer exists. Must go through taptalk for $3 if you want it. Seems if you already have it on either platform, then you're in. I have the ol free talkbass on android and it hasn't been affected. Not feeling the need just yet on the iPad cuz I can just come to the website.

I do think there should be some sort of sticky somewhere around here regarding the app situation. I searched quite a bit before I found this post http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f237/testers-reviews-needed-new-tb-app-im-sick-bugs-too-875288/ which isn't especially clear. Especially for those who isntalled the app after that, which I believe I did.

Well I deleted it off my iPhone yesterday bc of glitches and when I went to re-install it....no more. I am sure it will cut my time of being on TB by 50% at least. Why did they decide to nix it? I used it every day. Sometimes it was glitchy but 95% of the time it was great.

Those who use tapatalk.....yay? Nay? Similar?

It would have been nice if TB had the decency to announce this before actually doing it....unless we missed it somewhere. But my android app is still working fine so....

I only use it on my phone too. The desktop site is absolutely horrible.
Really though, I'd like to see the site get a nice new update. It looks like its stuck in 1997.

My android app seems to be working but the iPad app is gone. I uninstalled it because it was acting up. When I went back to reinstall it, it was gone. Really hope that its a glitch or something.

I just switched phones and was able to load the free Android TB app a couple days ago. Tapatalk was available for a fee.

Yeah. I use Blue Tapatalk (looks cooler, IMO). The actual Android app was all buggy for me. It was *exactly* like Tapatalk, anyway. So now, with Tapatalk, I have several frequented forums one click away, in the same app. Plus I get the cool blue/black color scheme.

The one thing I don't like about TapaTalk, and the reason I stopped using it, is when the forum threads display, it previews the first post in that thread instead of the latest one. I want to see the most recent post, not the first one.

I looked and haven't found one to preview latest post when displaying the forum threads. I'll go look again.

I'm not referring to the behavior when you tap on a thread. I'm talking about as you browse the threads in a forum, it shows the first line of the first post in that thread. I want that line to be of the most recent post in the thread, not the first post.
