TalkBass Q&A Game

I call him jimmy buffet (ay) because his songs seem to be about food.

Is that accurate?

Sounds good to me, I read one of his books once. All I got from it was him whining about having too much money, wrecking his sea plane and being stalked by paparazzi. Never got into his music, except that song about wearing hushpuppies... that one is alright.

What genre do you prefer?

Metal, Classic Rock. Open to anything good though.

You?

Pretty much my wheelhouse there
Dabble in classical an reggae as well, good exposure

Fav metal bands?

I really like Faster Pussycat. Also fan of Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, La Guns, G&R. Most main stream 80s/early 90s. I also flip-flop to some southwestern Rock, like the Refreshments and RCPM. Sometimes I hit up my collection of Grateful Dead shows (although the tapes are wearing out, so the quality is getting worse and the tape player in the burban is getting finicky).

You?

Kinda think it sucks

Still hording vinyl anyone?
Bueller?

I had a bunch, but last time I moved, my folks asked me to clean out a lot of it, before going into storage. So I lost most of my funk and soul albums that didn't have jackets. I still have the good stuff, Velvet Underground, the Who, VH, GD, Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, Alro Guthrie and Moody Blues. And two functioning record players.

Anyone lose treasures to moving and downsizing?
