The pool of musicians is pretty shallow, but you can find Buffett fans galore, especially among the boaters.
Any opinion on Buffett?
I was out to dinner with some friends and one's girlfriend ordered this bison steak "cold and bleeding". That's exactly how it was served.
Bison or beef?
Not so much. Not a Buffett fan either, although some of the guys like playing it, so I've been learning some songs.

Let's see... almost every restaurant or food stand has fried fish and fried chicken. Cracked conch (cut into strips, breaded and fried) is really popular. Sometimes you can find a good conch salad (similar to ceviche, raw and prepared in lime juice), or scorched conch. Sometimes you can get baked or steam fish. The Bahamian spiny lobster is good cracked (usually in pieces about the size of a melon ball, breaded and fried) , steamed, grilled, broiled and baked. Most dished are served with a side of peas and rice, coleslaw and Bahamian (baked) mac and cheese.
