TalkBass T-Shirt Design Proposal

Hey there;

I've REALLY been enjoying TalkBass a lot over the years and since I can't readily afford a proper membership, I'd love to give back, so I designed this shirt. If any of the owners are interested, I can send the final vector file to size and ready for print.

In the meantime hopefully people can vote on it. I tried to keep it simple and representative of both Upright and Electric Basses, and I kept the print cost low by making it just white ink. You can offer different color shirts, but I know from experience that black shirts ALWAYS sell.

I just want to openly thank this community for all the advice and entertainment and camaraderie. It's really been great.

It's nice, but there's one thing that i would add. Either above or below where it says TALK BASS, it should also say PLAY BASS ... possibly in a slightly smaller font.

white logo on black t-shirts is so cheap but if you used the yellow accent color from the site (or color of the clef in the logo) instead... now we're talking! I'll take one!

For thgose who don't know, it's TB protocol to always offer carrots as an option in any poll, at least if it's a poll about one's preferences or what's "best" or "better" for anything.

For instance: what kind of bass do you like best? 1) J bass. 2) P bass 3) stingray 4) carrots

Or: What color pickguard should I put on my bass? 1) tort 2) tort 3) tort 4) tort 5) carrot tort.

Like that.

I love the TB shirt I have... Only one flaw. They are not resistant to swimming pool chemicals..... From now on I plan to wear white shirts when I tend the pool.

it looks kinda sporty for a bass player forum. Needs more smoke, alcohol, & drunks trying to telling it how to play. my avatar is something I drew based on the that very concept. very classy stuff.. lol

I think your design is well done.
The Laurel, IMO makes it seem rather formal though.
I prefer the more casual look of the current Logo.
That's just my tastes.
