Well, got the GHS tapewounds in. Want to do a demo/comparison between them and the GHS Precisions.
I'm having a bit of difficulty deciding which bass to test drive these on. Both Sweet Georgia Brown (my kit P-bass) and Veronica (my Squier VM 70s Jazz) sport the flats. The Squier is pretty much a set-and-forget kind of instrument (minus the occasional truss rod adjustment). The kit bass is a bit fiddly. Right now, with the drastic change in seasons up here has necessitated some intervention, but both are playing pretty well right now (with good action, intonation, etc...)
So, which one should I do? I get the nylons will look pretty cool on the maple fretboard, but you know, P-bass.
