Tasty walnut Jazz

Wait, just a plate cracked? A stupid plate?
You said top of the "bass" cracked.
Don't freak me out like that.
Pretty sure the top cracked when drilling for a 3rd switch. The plate is the fix. It doesn't look bad, but a walnut plate would certainly blend better. That or a complementary wood in a gloss, or maybe even a jazz bass plate (standard or made of something like maple?).

Maybe down the road, it’s done for now.

Too bad you ain't got no knobs.
They have a Sweet Treats series now where @/\/\3phist0 gets his knobs.

I hope Ray is getting something from these, his knob supplier.
I really hope Ray is doing ok, he has been gone from TB for a while.

It has been a dark devastating journey, I have emerged damaged but whole. Will return with fervor presently.
Sweet Treets shall return once I can repair the damage to my shop and soul.

Errr…Tasty!

Thanks @/\/\3phist0 !
Glad that it is serving you well. It was a tough nut to crack with all of the subtle (and not so subtle) features on this body. I'm also thrilled that the Freestone neck worked out so well for you. I recently assembled a parts jazz with a Freestone neck and I Love it.
