Have you seen the pics of Cameron's (aka-bassflute) Marilyn laid out on sheepskin? They are awsome... easily some of the best pics I've seen on TB. Also, he's a proffesional photographer so that's gotta help some!

A dpi number is basically meaningless in this situation.
A 1920x1200 image, printed at 600dpi would be 3.2" x 2".
If printed for a calender (or whatever) at 300dpi it would be 6.4" x 4".
The rule of thumb for determining the displayed size of an image on a monitor is 72dpi.
FYI, your image was saved with a specified resolution of 266dpi, in Photoshop CS2.

Not trying to nitpick, but this is widely misunderstood.

Yep! I know that before and you are absolute right ... and indeed it is 266dpi! (Printable 18.33cm x 11.46cm )

I've made this picture a while ago for multiple purposes and for now I didn't check resolution! The reason why I placed this picture as it is, is that the (Calendar-)editor or anyone else now can do whatever he or she wanted to do! Everybody feel free to 'cut', 'paste', or whatever ... there's no copyright on it!

But ... I want to ask you all, my friends ... please show some respect! ... Keep the bass-design for what it is! We can't change this bass in something "Krzystof kania" didn't make! Every bass he has made is done with full passion, heart and soul! If you plan to make some big changes on the design, color or the layout of the bass please remove the 'Kania'-logo and anything else recognizable!

I didn't have time to change it myself into the right format for the nice calendar, so if this one is not good enough for the calendar ... it's OK with me! It still will be my very beloved babe and I take care of her!

On the other hand, if I'm the lucky guy they can contact me!
I still have the original PSD, so I can change it in every format/size they want!
