One picture is fine for each month... That's how normal calendars are, too.

I think there should be upright categories mixed into the calendar. It would be nice to include a category of self-decorated basses. For example, a friend of mine painted one of my basses. It would also be cool to add an under $(insert reasonable price) category. This would be to ensure that the whole calendar isn't made up of Conklin, Fodera and such. I love those basses... yumm...

Could always have the big pic on top and a pic beneath the days of the month. That gives us 24 or so. Could probably disperse smaller pics there, too.
