TC Electronic BG250 Club (Part 2)

I'm sure my new amp will be JUST FINE after two weeks in the capable hands of FEDEX. :rollno:

If you were to draw a line from my house going straight north and south, sweetwater being to the east and california being to the west, My amp has crossed over that line 4 times in the last two weeks.:bawl:

Brutal

Maybe you can cover it with steamer trunk travel stickers. They sell em by the sheet.

... and now it's back in Fort Wayne Indiana! (Home of Sweetwater music) Order being cancelled today.
I'm sure it would have been a nice amp but I'll stick with my Hartke Kickback 12. At least I know where it is and that it hasn't been kicked all over the country by Fedex.

I'm not trying to be a smart aleck but I sort of hinted nine days ago you could cancel because so many others out there want to sell you one.

btw, if anybody's interested I'm selling my back-up BG 250. I'm turning 65 and my playing days are over pretty much but I still have the original BG250 and a full G-K rig (which I will also be selling) at my disposal. I've played out with it maybe three times max. Oh, well. Age ... isn't it a great thing?

what's the big deal ? Your amp didnt show up when you wanted it to. Shipping went awry. It happens. Nothing in the contract that dresses the matter. It will show up at your door sooner or later and odds are your rep will toss you a bone.

Umm the amp was MIA and returned to the music store (not by me) after crisscrossing the country for two weeks. Nothing in the contract that says I have to keep it if I'm unhappy with the deal (in fact it says the opposite) Don't want it. They got it. Money refunded. No bones tossed either way. Case closed.

I hope you don't let this stupidity turn you off on this amp. I'd reorder it from another online store. The price just dropped by $50 and with the upcoming Labor Day holiday sales events I'm confident you can find a good deal.

I agree with this, the shipping carrier's foul-up doesn't reflect on the amp itself. They're excellent amps, and I'd give it another shot through a different retailer if need be.
