That head would have to be the aural equivalent of sleeping with the Victoria's Secret model of your choice (I'll take Laetitia Casta, please) to be worth $2500, especially considering all the controversery over TC flat out lying about their power ratings and inflating them like 200%.
It doesn't have a lot of features, just basic EQ, compression, "tube tone", and a tuner, basic effects loop, and only 2 speaker jacks even though it's rated to 2 ohms. For $2500. Silly me, I just have a Trace AH-600-12, with an expanded 12 band EQ, dual band compression, ACTUAL tubes (with overdrive/distortion and blend), an effects loop section worthy of NASA engineers, and it only costs about half as much. It's "only" 500w, but power is cheap and you could have another 500w for a few hundred bucks, and STILL come in WAY under the $2500 you would need for one of these, AND evidently have MORE power AND more options. But 500w should be enough for just about anyone if you have enough cab, and if you don't have enough cab, all the power in the world won't make a difference.
By the way, my whole setup was just over $500 because I got smokin deals on everything, because I dont believe in spending more money than I have to for no reason. And I would put my rig up against most costing $1000 or so more in terms of tone and features. The only area it really lacks in is cab power handling (at "only" about 600w), but it is plenty loud enough for pretty much anything but 1000+ capacity clubs maybe, which is all most musicians will ever see anyway. Oh, and if I really needed more, I have WHOLE OTHER RIGS that I could bring in to augment my main one, and even with that I'm STILL way under your $2500 budget JUST for your head.
Think about it.
