I received mine a few days ago. I've had no issues with it. However, I haven't been able to download any of the SpectraDrive toneprints. I emailed them and they said that they are working on it.
Using it with the headphones and mp3 player connected, it sounded really, really good.
I used it on a gig this weekend and it was better than I expected.

I asked TC Electronics about custom TonePrints with the Spectradrive.

They plan to make the Spectradrive work with the Editor, but are having technical problems. They're working on it.

I wonder if they make the Drive- and EQ-section editable too? Having a knob for mid-freq. would be great.

As I do not have a SpectraDrive, I cannot verify functionality, but I can tell you the SpectraDrive definitely shows up in the list in the new Toneprint app, but there are no templates listed for the SpectraDrive.

I can ask tc electronic support later today, or you can, since the new Music Tribe Community Forums should be live as of today.

According to a Tribe Moderator, as of 3 weeks ago, the final answer seems to be that because the SpectraDrive uses a different hardware platform, there is no support in the Toneprint Editor for the SpectraDrive:

With the Spectradrive and Bass products using a different framework, Toneprint editor functionality is unfortunately not supported. We will add more toneprints to compensate for that and feedback for additional Toneprints is welcome.

A belated thanks. That is exactly the info I was looking for. It seems like they've been true to their word on adding many Toneprints and taking user input/feedback seriously.
