TC RH750 part II

OK, I got some from Mouser today. They slip right on the shaft, but they're not tight, so I put a little rubber cement at the end of each shaft to hold them on. If I want to take them off, the rubber will rub off easily.
Maybe it's because it's 5 am and I still can't sleep, but that sounds like something you'd read on a porno site.

I like the RH knob look, except it could be shinier.

Does anyone in the Balto/DC area know where I can get my knob polished...cheap?

Way to go Mungi! you really know how to drive a thread off in the gutter.

I'm pleading innocent. It's all down to those denizens of the gutter that float in from OT now and then.

Apologies...I renounce my denizenship

In all seriousness, I think the look of the RH knobs is absolutely nailed, dead-on, and I have a hard time imagining a replacement looking as good.

Has anybody actually changed them for something that they think looks better? Pics?

I've replaced mine with aftermarket knobs until my replacements get here, which I requested about a month ago. They don't look better, but they don't break. Function before form.

However, I just noticed that two of the memory buttons have radial cracks in them. This amp never leaves my practice room and I change the channels with the footswitch. It looks like the plastic is shrinking. I don't get pissed off very easily about this stuff, but my patience is being tested here. I've notified TC, and we'll see how they handle it.

Are there any RH750s in stock in the US right now?

Are they widely out of stock?

Mine was supposed to be in "mid-January," then "by the end of January," and now "not until March."

At the time Donovan had some and I'm pretty sure I saw them available other places. I'm dealing with the outfit I'm dealing with because of price and proximity. If not, I would have just bought from someone else.

Jeez. You are having a bad run. How long have you had this amp for?
