TC RH750 part II

That is insane. They must have changed who makes the plastic bits. My tc is well over a year old and done heaps of gigs/practices and it's all solid
Plus it's been dropped on concrete from shoulder height :o

It gets worse. After I noticed the radial cracks in the buttons, I put the amp away in its TC case. Today I took the amp out to remove the aftermarket knobs in anticipation of receiving the new ones (it's been about a month and they're still not here), and noticed that the cracks now extend all the way across the buttons, and have grown even wider. I put a little super glue in the cracks with a toothpick to ****** the growth of the cracks if possible. Since I can't replace the buttons, I guess the amp is going to have to go back to TC. It's a good thing I saved the original box.

<edit> Now isn't that interesting. The ****** in the paragraph above is a verb that means "to make slow." I guess TB is now on "auto-PC."

Yeah, that is odd that they have it configured to always assume re-tard will always be used as insult... ironic that it's also specifically used in musical contexts as well.

Just so there's no misunderstanding, TC has been responsive to my communications, and I am in the process of getting an RA number for it to get repaired. I have no complaints about their customer service, and I do like the amp other than the unfortunate situation with "bad prastic." I'm pretty sure they're going to take care of me.

I received the replacement knobs for my RH750 today. Took about two weeks to get them - not too bad, considering they told me they were out-of-stock and had to come from overseas. Unlike vin*tone's replacements, though, mine don't look any different than the originals. My replacement knobs look like the ones on the right from his picture.
