Tech 21 'Leeds'

I have two Leeds pedals, love 'em. I also use the British, Liverpool and Roto Choir for bass. All work really well, the Leeds being my favorite.
Sounds very much like the tone stack in my 73 Hiwatt DR103.

I think I may add an Oxford to the bag;)

There has been discussion of it in John's overdrive/fuzz thread. If I remember correctly, John had an enhanced clone for sale at some point.

I just meant no mention in this thread, as it's about a Hiwatt modeling pedal.

I know the WIIO is one of John's favorites, too.

I'd be interested to see what he would do with something like the Mr. Watt, but I am in no rush to get a preamp. It's way down on my list of desires. If the time to get a preamp arrives, a Hiwatt from John would be the top choice, I think.

No, I totally understood it that way. Sorry, maybe I did not express myself correctly. You reminded me about those, I had completely spaced out on them. Thanks!

I would ask but right now it would just be out of curiosity since I just bought another pedal. I will wait until I can afford one before bothering him with the possibility.

The VT has been good to me so far but I know I want a different flavor and this may be the ticket but right now I have other priorities. I will be putting this one in the ol' memory bank for sure though.

You did however cause me to go back to his site, and now I see he is doing a limited run of his FET-F2B Bass Preamp pedal he showed on his thread not too long ago. An alembic F2B clone in pedal form... :) Now, I don't know, I am trying to stay strong.

I asked him about a boost that day when me and you were messaging back and forth. He told me about the F2B. It really stinks when youre broke and there are all these cool things you want to try with a new amp :( Dont get me wrong, Im loving the new amp, that is why Im so broke, but it still stinks!

Yeah, I am thinking about the F2B now. I don't need it but, damn, just look at it :)

As for the HiWatt stuff, everything mentioned so far sounds good, again, trying to stay strong here.

Maybe this is what I have been doing wrong. I have used the new ignore feature on TB to ignore trolls and people I don't like. Maybe I should use it to ignore all you guys that keep coming up with more stuff that I want to get :)
