Anyone tried one of these yet.
Writeup on their website sounds good but then again the right media pitch can make Britney Spears seem relevant... not to mention the bieber phenomenon.

Yes, but unlike Justin Bieber, the copywriters at Tech 21 make no attempts to hide what they're selling. Because everybody knows that inappropriately-named companies (since I've never heard of any NYC neighborhood called "Clifton, NJ") that sell boxes that you plug your guitar into are far more trustworthy than some perfectly-coiffed Canadian kid whose fashion cues come straight from 1980. Or, more accurately, and to his credit, more trustworthy than the guy who put him up to all of this: Usher Raymond IV.

"Because of the way traditional chorus pedals typically interact with their amps, most bass players would rather put an angry badger on their pedalboard." I guess Mr. B. Andrew Barta has never met me - well, okay, he hasn't - because my chorus interacts brilliantly with my amp. Mind you, I use a Roland Jazz Chorus, but still...

Anyway, I haven't tried either Boost Chorus. I assure you, loyal readers, the whole six of you still remaining, that I will, and there will be some sort of writing on the subject. But, to tide me over until such time, would someone please kindly donate a Strymon Ola?

If Barta did say that I do lose some respect for him. Obviously, he never has tried or refuses to acknowledge the good bass choruses out there like Analogman for example IMHO.

There's a youtube video up, looks promising. But at $189, I'm not sure it can be promising enough. Looks like I'm stuck with my sucky 80's inspired chorus, as well as the angry badger I have zip tied to my pedalboard....:hiding:

Angry Badger sounds a great name for an FX pedal.

I have a hard time trying to get my ears around Bass Chorus. Chorus is too chimey for me, even with low settings. I usually don't want highs accentuated, or added. Maybe I just haven't found the right bass chorus, yet.

Any songs you can name that have the "sound" you are looking for? That would help in ID'ing options. Or maybe chorus is just not your thing.

I think it more my primary music: klezmer/jewish liturgical and gospel. Though, I could see where chorus should work in a bunch of Michael W. Smith songs (and similar).

So, a combo of both reasons.
