I've not tried it after the VT, no. But that's because the VT is my 'amp simulator', and the VT smooths off some of the harshness that the BM can produce.

I'm not noticing any switching noise with my setup...

Just ordered one tonight from Guitar Center, had some gift cards to burn. I am stoked and hope the backorder doesn't end up getting pushed back again and again.

The website says BO till Jan 30th, but the dude on the phone said it was backordered until March? This dude didn't sound like he knew what he was doing so I hope the website is correct. :hmm:

Did you order online or in-store? The store may have been able to do a transfer from another.

Character knob? All the way down, it sounds really woolly like a sheep trapped inside another sheep, then towards halfway it sounds like RAWK, then above 2 o'clock it sounds like glass being smashed in your face while bees sting your ears. I've been meaning to analyse it to find out how flat the response is and exactly what that knob does to your EQ, but for now, those descriptions should suffice.

I ordered this Pedal 3 months ago and last night i picked it up from Long and Mcquade (Oh Canada...) needless to say it was worth the wait. I really liked TL5's setting but if i want to add the gritty indie rock bass sound i just put the character knob past 1pm.

On top of it now the idiots at Long and Mcquade sells the pedal for the incredible low price of $190. I got the old price at $165. But its worth it, this one's a keeper.

sounds good with a BBM if you place the vt before it and not after imo
+1, best to fuzz the VT, not VT the fuzz. :D

I've been experimenting with this pedal for about 3 weeks now and it really is amazing. There are so many great sounds it can produce. Sometimes a small tweak of a couple of knobs from a sound you already like and use will get you a different tone you'd also like to save and use. Tech 21 really needs to come out with a programmable version of this thing for saving multiple sounds.
