Which do you think is more versatile and a better bang for your buck?
This! The AGS drive in the tone hammer is the most responsive drive I've used. It's can be clean with fingers and gritty with a pick at the same settings. It also has a very amp like response to a boost pedal in front of it.
I run my Tone Hammer (V1) on phantom power most of the time.It may or may not be a factor for you, but the BDDI and VT have phantom power capabilities that the Tone Hammer doesn't have...at least not V1.
Ahh...my bad! Thanks for the correction.I run my Tone Hammer (V1) on phantom power most of the time.
It's the V2 which cannot be powered that way...
That's why I've decided to keep the V1...
