Here is the corrected version of the cover to be offered to those looking for factory size SF recreations or 916 Super Neodymium. Please comment with your thoughts on these covers. Feedback is very helpful to make sure these covers are satisfactory to those looking to buy replacement SF sized pickups
Those look great. They have the rougher texture like the SF, so they would be similar to what a SF fan is used to.

I personally think they look great. But I'm not ever concerned with pups looking exactly like originals. I'd have to guess that some folks will definitely prefer a recreation that looks as accurate as possible.

Same here. Tone always wins over looking exactly the same. Knowing that there is a new drop-in replacement for the OG SF is really cool!
Peavey was a little wacky with their proprietary designs, glad to know that the great, SF sound is available in many formats.

Hi @Matt Kustom. I love the texture! Is it possible to laser the 916 logo onto these or no?

If I was not trying to keep inline with factory style magnet arrangement it would be as easy as ordering magnets and glueing them to the bottom. Even though these are bass pickups Bill Laurence decided to do a P90 style arrangement. I really don't like cutting magnets but I can not order 500 magnets for a design that does not sell alot. I have a player that's worked with me for years and tests stuff like cut ceramic mags. It's not ideal. But it gets custom design done with no noticeable effect on sound. I have tried various ways to cut , and even cracked ceramic like factory connecting rods in engines. The best way I have found is actually a angle grinder with a metal cut off wheel. Ceramic comes off the shelf in odd to guitar/bass size I just couldn't find any 1 1/2 or 40mm long and close to 1/4 x 1/4 . So I'm cutting down mags I custom ordered for Telecaster P90 design
