Our saxophone player is legally ********...

He absolutely RIPS IT UP though. Its just such a pain dealing with him though, as he is the most socially incompetent kid on the planet sometimes. he also smokes a lot of weed, which compounds his existing problem.

One of the band in my sigs (initials are hl) has absolutely no drama. None. I'm the youngest member at age 35 1/2, and we play indie-dance-electronic.





Seriously, no drama at all. None.






And the other bands in my sig have very little to no drama as well.

lead singer lives in our practice space & maybe owns 2 pairs of pants.

the drummer lived with him for 2 years before moving out a few months ago.

drummer knocked out our sound guy after a long 3 hr drive home. the sound guy should have seen it coming.

3 out of the 4 members in my band have the last name Brown, and none of them are related.

My last band had 2 Wards and 3 Seguins in it. no one was related.

Nothing unusual about my band, but I remember a local one that was real special: A trio (guitar, bass and drums) in which all members' first name was Oscar and all three were left-handed. Unfortunately, it was a students band created for a practice subject at the university and they didn't do anything outside the campus. I told them many times that they should exploit that particularity.

Our singer once commented that we would make an awesome teenaged superhero team: Our drummer Clint would be the athletic muscle man who gets all the chicks, our guitarist Mike would be the brainiac with the talking computer, I would be the cool one who builds things, and he would be the vaguely gay one with the weirdly inappropriate hat.

I don't have a permanent band, but a keyboardist that I play with a lot is a Sudanese refugee with one eye and a bullet lodged in his leg. His playing is amazing though!

his doctor had recommended doing the procedure today ,
but we have a gig tonight , and he didn't want to let the band down ...

We fired our 2nd guitarist for being too fat. Our fans were complaining about seeing his stomach hanging below his shirt when he played.

He's also now our former sound guy.

In one band I'm the only member under 60 (I'm 36).

In my other band I'm the only guy.

1)We have 2 guitarists who both consider themselves to be rhythm guitarists, even though they can both shred.

2)I have to tell them to turn up sometimes.

3)3 people in the band (trumpet player, myself, and rhythm guitar #2) are bassists, but I am the bassist for this band.

4)We have six vocalists in the group, but no lead vocalist.

one guitarist is:
doctor of electronic engineering
formerly a successful film/TV actor
he also for some reason is friends with lots of famous musicians

other guitarist:
his old band all died in a crash, except him. really sad story.
now lives in the US. we recorded bits of the album transatlantically, sending files back and forth.

oh and in this band i am both the bassist and the drummer

There's only 2 of us, guitarist and bassist, everyone else is just a studio musician and we're a studio band only.

My guitar player doesn't like to take a lot of solos.

Our guitarist never plays solos... so I take a lot of them.

4 people in our band are bassists, though only I play bass in this band. (not sure about our new drummer)

3 people play synthesizers, including myself. The other two exclusively.

I am the only member under 30 (I'm 25, the others are 32-37) and I brought the band together.

Aside from a few 'songs in process' all of our music is made up on the spot.
