Mount tanks on a layer of rigid foam insulation. It will prevent this.

..,.another tip: If your 100 gallon tank isn't on a nearly perfectly level and sturdy tank stand it will probably start leaking in a few days to weeks and may eventually have a cataclysmic ending.

This goes for any sized tank.
