My real name is Michael, but how exciting is that?

As I was going through my daily ritual of browsing Facebook marketplace, a bass from this company out of Mission Viejo, CA popped up so I did some further research. Nothing on this site comes up in search. There's a few for sale on Reverb, however.

I'm typically not compelled to start a thread about another Fender-esque bass, this one was different though!

Check out this truss rod system:

Anybody have any experience with this (or similar) truss rod?

Also just the fact that the best bass builders in the world aren't using it should speak volumes.
Nothing to see here, move on.

I am going to mainly assume it is because of the patent pending. It's a cool niche, but other builders won't touch them because it will end up increasing the cost of the bass. Extra for the manufacturing of the system and on top of that, royalty fees.

I think it's a pretty cool idea though.

There's lots of "cool" ideas in the world. Stanley Steamer anyone? Many are not worth persuing. Just look at the guy with that stair step headstock for an exemplar. There's a whole thread about it here. I'll look for the thread.
Patent notwithstanding, IF, and I'm doubtful, IF it was a vast improvement over the existing solutions, some would use it in spite of royalty costs. The number of "fender licensed" products produced should tell you that. Again no ones interested in it.
