TEXAS BASSISTS UNITE...

Hey that looks like an invitation! Just say when ;)

.

As soon as he finishes my basses... :D (I have a fretted and fretless in the pipeline! :hyper:)

Seriously, Pete has hosted a GTG once before. Not intending to speak for him (although I guess I kinda am), but once he gets this (large) batch behind him would probably be better timing. He's also gonna be a daddy before long!

Feel free to chime in and correct me about what's best for you, though, Pete. I for one would love to see another Skjold shop GTG, since I couldn't make the last one.

Houston!!
Playin in a band of high schoolers that gigs every other weekend.

Austin, TX

I play w/ 2 singer/songwriters, Link Removed and Link Removed (2 separate bands, not a S/SW duo), and with my modern alt/prog(ish) band Link Removed. I also play at church 2 or 3 times a month.

I play primarily a Roscoe LG3005 Fretless thru a Genz-Benz GBE750 and NeoX212.

I live in Ft Worth after just moving from Weatherford.

I play a recently acquired Lakland 55-02, GK 1001-RB II, Avatar Neo 2-10, and Aguilar GS112.

I played in church for most of my playing time, but just left my old church, so I'm not doing that as of right now. Playing with some guys in a rock/acoustic style worship band that is more like a practice group than an actual gigging band. Looking to try out for the worship team at Gateway church in the next couple of months.

Tolbert Pitman here, and I play in a jazz/rock/fusion band called Coalition. CD is in the works and coming out by the end of the year.

Coalition info:
Link Removed & Link Removed

Also play for the Joe Languell Band, which is a praise & worship band, plus I'm on his CD. www.joelanguell.com

Sunday's at 4:30pm for the Teen Mass at St. Ann's in Coppell.

Gear: 1976 Fender Jazz (bought it new), Squire Vintage Jazz fretless (just too fun for under $300), SWR SM-400 & Goliath

Looking to replace the SWR soon with Berg IP112 & EX112 or a MarkBass rig. And also a Skjold fretless to the mix too.

Cedar Park/Leander (just north of Austin)
In a fairly new endeavor with a female vocalist from Round Rock. Covers and stuff she's penned. Playing @ Junior's pretty steadily.

My gear includes LTD F-255, Peavey T-40, and a Yamaha RBX 375. Ashdown Mag 600r with a Ampeg SVT-410 half stack.
