The 50+ Basses Owned Club!!!

I'm an OTer, so it didn't seem like 50 meant much.

Thinking about it:

Mainstay basses:

Peavey - I currently have 7, owned most USA models except the Cirrus line. Lots of the imports, handed off to students. Gotta be 50 just there.

Washburn: Looking at the list from the last decade - 9. A few more before that. Have 3 now.

Ibanez: I keep trying them, at least a dozen this decade, maybe as many before. 2 now.

Gibson/Epi: Tbird was the only one that ever struck a chord with me: tried a bunch but only owned a few - like 6 maybe.

Fender - Like most of us I had a bunch. Should tell enough I have none now.

Guild: Starfire. Sold it, wish I had it back. 4 And 5 Pilots.

Samick: 2 AB'Gs both fine. 2 Electrics, non-descript.

Some real odd-ball 60's and 70's Japanese stuff, collectible, but garbage.

Other stuff I haven't recollected yet, but 50 was easy, if I think some more 100 seems reasonable.

But: I'm a geezer. Shouldn't be a surprise there were that many passing thru my hands.

I am 51 I struggled to think and when I totaled up I died at 50 right on the nose,I am sure a few fell threw the cracks, probably quite a few but here goes Brand X 4 DanElectro 1 Yamaha 8 Rickenflapper 1 Squier 5 Fender.... 6 Hofner 2 LTD 1 Epiphone 4 ovation 1 Jay Turser 2 stadium 1 Ibanez 10 Gibson 2 Carlo Robelli 1 Guild 1 now Im thinking to hard I know I left out at least a couple and this dont count guitars

There is one fender bass here that I got rid of that I regret... The medium scale Fender Jazz from Japan. I got it from Ishibashi and they no longer make that model.

Well I am somewhere in here with a final count of 53 now it is 54 I just scored a Epi viola for 70 bucks,as a matter of fact it came with a strat copy and small bass amp for that 70 bucks.Maybe I'll sell the strat copy and amp for 70 bucks then the epi is free
