I'd request a number then keep bothering you to remind me.

I've owned at least 10 of anything Peavey produced in USA.. at least 100 fenders.. at least one of the production acoustics... a long list of obscure and stange basses.. then botiques.

Funny I gig a $50 garage sale bass with tapes.. or botiques.

I have an absolute ball picking up a turd and making it outplay a $$$$$ botique.

Only one I shoujld have kept was a Carvin Jazzish stereo.. it was obscure and proably the most notable for the budget.

Have been super underwhelmed with the ones that folks drool over. Commonly there's a better option at 1/4 the cost.

If anyone feels bad i think i am topping everyone in this thread for my age and amount owned, i recently turned 20 and have owned i think over 50 basses. I will look and post what i have owned tomorrow. Alot of fenders, squiers, peavey , musicman etc. It started mainly when i was in my freshman year of college i knew only a few people at my new school and passed time buying and flipping basses, if i kept this rate up i could easily have owned 1000 by the end of this decade but i got tired of buying basses, i just like to play em now:hyper:

Yeah, I suppose. I think many of the people here would hit 100+.

When I started this, I picked 50 because it was high enough to be remarkable, but low enough to be something a guy could actually hit if he got serious about bass chasing. And it wouldn't take you all day to remember them all and list them.

To me, 50 is a serious threshold, yet not completely ridiculous. Get any higher than that and it's like showing off an oversized johnson -- at some point, people stop being that much in awe and start wondering, "Where does he put it when he's at work?"
