Most were under $200-300. Some around $400-800 (when new US Fenders were about $700. I never paid more than $700 for a Fender). Three over $1300.
 
I feel left out of this club:bawl:. I have been playing bass for 30 years and have only owned 4 basses the entire time.

Case and point, #49 was a Bass I'd sought for 25+ years.. The 4001 is my go to Bass now, unless I need a 5 string.. then it's an Ibanez 705. It's the 8th 4001 I've owned, and the one that will find a home with my son, when I can't play anymore. He's already inherited one of my Fender MIJ PBasses and my Gibson Victory Artist..
