Only person I ever saw using one was Dave Vincent from Morbid Angel back before he went to Dean.

My 80s basses. Here's my 87 Spirits of the Live bass. 32" neck. So easy to play. Deluxe lagoon burst finish. I think that most of the basses in this series had bodies that yellowed with age and necks that didn't.

Here's my 1984-ish Fernandes RPJ 45. The previous owner put a pickguard on it. I did some 80s-ish mods, like adding an Omega Badass-style bridge.

My only remaining Eighties bass - acquired in January of this year from a Japanese seller on eBay - my beautiful Aria SB1000. Cost me quite a lot, but well worth it for such a special instrument.
