Thunder, what kind of Ibanez is that. Im liking the slim body as well. Almost reminds me of a Dinky body.

Its been so long I dont remember the model. It still plays like beast and it sounds really good thanks to the pickup config.

Im thinking about stripping the paint and replacing the pups with duncan 1/4 pounders.

Its only the second one I had ever seen with that pickup config. The other one was on stage being played by the bassist from Tora Tora way back in the day. Yeah that dates me.

The remains of a paint job from the previous owner, just one of the indignities the poor bass suffered at his hands. I'm amazed it still works. Those basses are built better than tanks. It's hard to find 2 basses as different as the Exploiter and the Steinberger, but I like them both. The Alembic is much harder to play, but the sound makes it worth it. The Steinberger is easy to play, and sounds just as good, but different.

Caribbean Blue. The clearcoat has yellowed over the years, making it more like turquoise.
