I kick myself for letting my 450/406 go years ago. But I always wanted a 360 or 370. I finally got my hands on a 370 head. Holy crap! This thing is loud. Great tone, too. I believe it could blow away my two Genz Benz amps it is perched upon. It'll be going to the local amp nerd for some inspection and more than likely, some replacement parts. After all, it's only 40 YEARS OLD! Oh, and please excuse the rat fur.

Could I have a number, please? Thanks.

You gotta get the dirt off the diamonds. But then, when you do, you have nothing but diamonds!

They weigh a whole lot, but they sure are versatile and sound amazing. I play the 370 through a 408, and was outside on Friday with it. Turned down, it's just as sweet sounding as it is when it's blowing down walls. A week ago yesterday, the 360 came out to play outside at a wedding. Same story. They are different, and I like 'em both. The P-Bass doesn't sound quite as good as the Dimarzio One loaded EB-2 through these amps, but it sounds like a P-Bass and sounds good. I haven't played the Thunderbird through the big amps yet, but it sure sounds good through the 118 and 126.

Finally gigged MY 2009 GC Acoustic B200 Combo; live at outdoors event last Saturday.

I used the line-out into PA, which Sound crew loved.

I used a rather loud stage volume, with both Gain and Volume @ 1 o'clock. Kind of distorted, but not into Pappalardi / Bruce Zone. Frankly I was pleased with my tiny little combo,as other bassists used (2) 1 x 15 Ampeg and another used a Crown into Gens Benz or something.

Hind sight being clearer, I could have turned Volume even higher with Gain lower, to avoid distortion. Still didn't fart-out on my B String excersions.

Well I picked up a used but in really great condition B600H and B410 cab today. Got an excellent price on it!!! Plugged the old acoustic 140 into it and it pops and makes noises. So now I am going to send the 140 out and have it checked out.

Played bothe my Geddy Lee and my new Fender American Standard thru it and I got to say it sounds great!!!! Defently a lot of thunder!!!!

I'd like to get in on this! I got my B200H and B115 cab about 5 weeks ago. $200 out the door.Wanted to play with it a bit before asking to join. Must say, at first I thought I made a mistake but after a few days I found the sweet spot and now I'm very happy with it. I use the V-Amp to just add a little chorus or reverb to a few songs. Perfect.
I played one of the new B200MKII last night at GC. Trying out a bass. Sounds good for a combo. Lot more bells and whistles on it then my head, was kinda kicking myself for not waiting. I knew if I bought it they would come out with something bigger and better. Lol. I think the sound is still the same, the over drive was ok I guess. Not a big fan. All n all pretty cool. If I start playing out more might up grade to a new head if mine goes or doesn't work out.

I picked up my new G C Acoustic B200 H and 1X15 Cab yesterday after work.

As I have owned a B200 Combo since 2009, the tone bank,etc was no mystery to me.

As it was late and I generally don't advertise to the neighborhood that I own basses and amps, I turned both Volume and Gain to about 8:O'clock and all tone bank frequencies flat. It sounded loud, clear and clean as I expected.

I used my 2009 Squier Jazz 5 Active to check for B-String distortion; as expected, there was none. The cab sounded rather HI-FI when compared with the tone I expect from the Combo.

Difference between Combo and seperates is that the Horn is activated via a switch on the 1x15 cab as opposed to a switch on the rear panel of the Combo. [Must have had the horn engaged]. I will give it a more thorough testing later.

My intention for having (2) nearly identical amps is to run my Rick 4001 in Stereo, but the repair guy is stumped. Next test will be to run Squier through A/B/Y Box: sending signal to each amp seperately or together, which is a great way to A/B test these two great amps.

Ultimately I will run one amp more bassy; other more treble or some distinct tonal variation between the two. I can run one amp clean and other with effects. Now my choices are infinite.

Also as the seperates weigh less individually when compared with the Combo, I may choose to leave the Combo at home and gig with the seperates...or I can bring both if needed.

Also the B200 H is better to run (2) cabs without ohmage issues; unlike the Combo. Curious to see what B200 H sounds with my Marshall 1550 [ 1x15 Celestion: 8 ohms @200 watts ] stacked, with [maybe] horn on 1x15 for more testing.

The 1x15 cab is noticeably larger in width and noticeably lighter than the combo. (2) load in-out trips with seperates vs (1) heavier in-out trips with combo.

I'll keep y'all posted. ....Later...
