The Acoustic Club

Just got my 270 head I bought from GC last summer back from the tech. Looks like I'll be pairing it with a vintage 80's Peavey 115 cab for a private 80's themed 50th birthday party tomorrow night as it's first test outing (yes, I'm bringing backup, lol, the trusty 120). Here's the two components before refurbishment. I really like the sound of these vintage designs for vintage music.

I have no 120 to compare it to :)

I like the 270 a lot, especially the fuzz with a strong signal from an active bass. So far I only used my Marshall DBS 7412 cab with it, and both bass and guitar sound amazing through it.
If it's the 120 head you're referring to, I have and use both. The 270 is very similar to the 120 in character. The 270 has much more headroom and sounds more hifi (more highs/lows) than the 120, imo.

Thanks for that. Yea I got Yours and @StingRay85 posts confused. Thank you both for the info. I'm thinking of getting another ACC head, and don't know wether to get another 220 or try another model.
