No Acoustic cabs have I think. Would help to break up standing waves inside the box, no idea if this is really worth the trouble

Well I haven't heard anything about this, so with that answer I'll just let it go I guess!

My 301 doesn't have any insulation.
Btw, I don't think it has any "standing waves" in it!

I want it but have to slow down my purchases in retirement....

I would chop it to make a 150 head and use it for bass, and try to sell the speakers

Does adding a tube from the port into the enclosure help with lows?

In your specific case, adding 4.2 inches of tube to make a tunnel will tune the box to 40 Hz. Same effect as reducing port surface area (see previous posts)

Today I got my import Acoustic B115 back from my nephew. Along with my Peavey Mark III. Back home.

I tried to sell the B115 on CL, couldn't, gave it to my nephew, he didn't use it.....
Pics someday.
