it was 2 in the Gen 2 150 he couldn't dig up. I didn't wanna drop much $ on it plus I miss the beast 370 more and would rather spend my nickle towards that up and running primo.

I certainly agree with prioritizing the 370. If it's the power transistors that need replacing, there are options available - either newer Motorola MJ-series parts or old surplus 2N3055 hometaxials. I've honestly never found a bad low-level transistor in an Acoustic, although I do have some spares on-hand in case I ever need one. Most of those can be replaced with general purpose semiconductors which is why I find it weird that your tech had problems.
@billgoodwin, so sorry to hear about your 370. I hope you can find a tech that can get it up and running again!
he said that he had marked the bad one's he couldn't find (maybe I should open it up and have a look - take a pic.) Know he replaced the canister and one of the reverb springs was broke too. Hope the 370 is an easy fix.
I picked up a vgc 120 head from GC, during my 'acquisition stage', for $119.99.
My intention was to have it for spare parts for my 126, 320 and 270 heads. It seemed like $120 was a good investment.
The head is in excellent condition, so it'll be a shame to sacrifice. Maybe I'll happen upon something non-operational later.

I've got several Acoustic heads that I picked up on the cheap with the same intention. I haven't parted one out yet.

kinda giddy about getting to play through a 360 today in a studio. taking my "cutie" rig too.
Yesterday I used my GK MB-200 with my Acoustic 301 cab! It sounded great!

yes! it was a brilliant day in studio! Overall , I can see what the fuss is bout these 360's. My 150 had a "self esteem" complex yesterday -lol.
Does the 150 have a preamp out? I have two but don't even know lol. I bet that would have sounded awesome too on the 361.
Found a model 127 yesterday. Probably one of the last solid state designs of ACC, with brown tolex. I bought it, and want to see how it compares to the 125 combo (120 + reverb + channel gain), and the G100T. Really want to find out if it can be used for bass or not. If it can, and sounds good on the 406w, I will probably convert it to a head, and I add the two 12" square magnets to the growing collection of original white dome speakers.
Can't confirm at this point, will only see it in a good week from now. On the pictures it only shows 130, but they look identical to the 125 combo speakers. Made me think, they must be 8 ohms, while my 105 412 cab is 4 ohms, which means they are different speakers. Maybe also different power handling and bass response?
The silver domed 105 speakers should be 130018, and the white domed 125 speakers should be 130065. Not sure of the difference between the '65 and '95. Could be impedance or different cone ribbing, etc.
Most of the pics of 130095 speakers I've seen in the brown tolex models are Eminence (EIA code = 67) with a square black ceramic magnet, but I have seen one oddball Acoustic G60-212 2X12 combo that was loaded with a 130095 that had a round silver magnet stamped with a '978" EIA code. I haven't been able to identify that manufacturer. Sounds like yours will be Eminences.
