Just finished cleaning up the ol' 320. Removed the dust and cleaned the inside with contact spray. Hopefully this solved the issues with the loud switches and footswitch that bangs when being engaged. Will upload some pictures of the inside later. I assume it had been fully recapped in the past, as even the large cans were replaced.

Can't wait to hook it up to the 408 and see if it sounds the way it should.

My favorite 320 settings so far:

A: treble 1, mid 11:30, bass 1
B: treble 3:30, mid 7, bass 3
EQ off

For the 330: same as channel A of the 320
B off
EQ off
Master volume 1:30

Both sound awesome with my P, but I prefer the 330 so far. The master volume really makes it agressive without losing focus. The two channels blending is seriously capable of delivering a massive sound too.

I seem to recall that I was changing amp settings on my 320/406w combination depending on what bass was involved. EB-3, Marcus Miller Jazz and P-bass all ask for something different, as you can imagine, but I can recall running dual channels split frequency-wise as if by a crossover and blending the channels to taste so:

A: Treble full on, mids 12:00, bass full off.
B: Treble full off, mids full off or 12:00 (depending on the bass used), graphic eq used fully to further remove all high frequencies and bass full on (variation:70 Hz slider up to add girth)

I then blend using the two separate volumes like blending highs/lows on a crossover. The amont of separation this achieves is amazing. Master volume is usually on full on all my amp strategies so I don't really miss a master volume, but, I am going to experiment with defeating the graphic now that I know it changes the lows output. Hmmm think I can turn that into a useful variable to add to my toolbox.

This Acoustic stuff, even when they complicate it with channels and which cabs you're using, remains coherent and common-sensible. Consider your instrument, consider the properties of your speaker enclosure. Now dial in ch 1 with this emphasis, dial in ch 2 with the other emphasis... Now mix to taste.

It's so cool that you can see the settings on his 360 and 330 in this picture. He only used channel A, reverb on, master volume maxed, not sure if the bright switch is engaged, additional mid and bass, and then a bit weird looking graphic EQ. Perhaps in bi-amp mode where it mostly provides bass and mids? The 408 is behind him, and on each side there is a 361. So cool picture
