Most of my playing time lately has been in church every Sunday morning and with The Rockits (once or twice a month), a 50's-70 retro-rock act. Then there's Dizzy Biz, a trio consisting of acoustic guitar, violin and bass (usually fretless) and we all sing so big harmonies. For DizzyBiz I usually use very small modern gear as we travel light.
DizzyBiz hosts a week-night open mic locally but I've been on leave for most of a year to be home with my sweetie. :(
I am thankful for how much I do get to play at my age. I don't ever want to stop completely.

I had a 5 year or so hiatus from playing...I just started to play some around the house. Man...it's like starting over....
I had to relearn many things. I have started to play to my early roots music.. the Beatles, Hendrix, Grand Funk....it's coming back slowly.

Too bad using the power amp input on the 220 breaks the preamp connection :(

Would have been cool to use the 220 pre to add some more bass when messing around with the fuzz on the 360. Oh well, need to reinstall the 320 then

Just saw this mentioned on the Un-official Acoustic site on Tapatalk and thought I'd check it out:

Someone mentioned a friend of his having discovered that beer bottle caps fit in the open foot-cup holes in ACC gear. Well it works. Not perfect, but it works.
I used Coke bottle caps as those are plentiful in my life (I prefer Mexican Coke as its still made the old-fashioned way with sugar, no corn syrup).

When I rescued my old 301 it had old beer bottle caps in the pockets. After I did my "light" restore, I put three of them back and added one new one of my own.

I had an Acoustic B300HD, bought used super cheap, but moved up to the B600HD recently. I play it through Avatars 115 or 112, depending on the venue. I've had many amp heads over fifty years: Eden, Ashdown, Kustom, Hartke, Fender, Ampeg, etc. and I don't know why so many people think so poorly of these heads. Sure, they're GC/MF house brands, but the 600 does everything I want it to and the sound guy loves it. For $219 used, it doesn't have to last a lifetime. Both Ampeg heads (PF500 and PF350) I previously owned shut down for no apparent reason, so I'm moving past the gear-snob stage at last.

I just bought one of those B300HD from Ebay this week. It's hasn't arrived yet, and in anticipation I thought I'd check if there was a Acoustic club. So I came here and saw you post. I'm glad to hear you liked that head .

I sure hope not. I love my little G20.
If it does die, I'll buy something to replace it and end up using it as a small cab or repairing the amp or putting another amp in it.
I'd love to get an old Acoustic amp, but I just had two DIY combo amp kits and a Crate BT50 and a DOD Grunge pedal (second one. going to be a mod project for bass fuzz) come in in the past week. I have to slow down a bit.
