I also bought the B600C and am amazed at how loud this combo really is! I'm interested to know how the 410 cab you paired the combo with would have the same speakers. The 410 is rated at 400 watts & The B600C combo only 210's (w/tweeter) is 425 Watts standalone. It also makes me wonder who the manufacturer of the speakers are in the acoustic Combos and cabinets (Chinese Celestion?)I will say even as a stand-alone combo, I haven't tried to push it above 11 o clock on the volume or gain, as there's plenty of Headroom! I am also still trying to find out who actually manufactures the Guitar Center in house brand. Kustom has been rumored in the past for manufacturing Acoustic brand gear out of China. The class D amplifier is impressive, but I also question who the manufacturer of the amp in this combo as well. With almost all but a few amp manufacturers using parts or assembling their equipment in China I guess it would be hard to tell where things are sourced from these daysm I am hoping the reliability of this awesome combo will be of service for many years past the 3-year warranty!

Great and defined sounding medium-duty single preamp channel amp. Plenty loud. Can do 2 ohms. What more do you want? ;-)

True. I would jump on any 106 or 402 that pops up within a 200 km radius, and probably consider all other cabs if the price is fair. Why only have 1 408 if you can have 2?

Yeah I'm retired also and care for my very sick wife 90% of the time, but they do let me gig occasionally. I've had an ACC gear appropriate gig (outside/big stage or room) maybe 4-6 times a year and don't hesitate to use my big guns whenever possible.
Most of my playing time lately has been in church every Sunday morning and with The Rockits (once or twice a month), a 50's-70 retro-rock act. Then there's Dizzy Biz, a trio consisting of acoustic guitar, violin and bass (usually fretless) and we all sing so big harmonies. For DizzyBiz I usually use very small modern gear as we travel light.
DizzyBiz hosts a week-night open mic locally but I've been on leave for most of a year to be home with my sweetie.
I am thankful for how much I do get to play at my age. I don't ever want to stop completely.
