I was thinking about the 200 watt head and 15 inch cab. Stopped by GC, played it and liked what I heard but there just wasn't enough volume there. I didn't realize until later that day that the cabs are 8 ohms each. Therefore, the 200 watt at 4 ohm head wasn't putting out all 200 watts. That explains that.
So then I was looking at the B200 combo. Its 200 watts into a 4 ohm speaker. So, lets say I plug a 4 ohm cab into the back of it... say a 2x10 or something like that. That takes me to 2 ohms total resistance. I'm now pushing more than 200 watts right? What would that be? 300 watts, 400 watts?
Just trying to figure out what my options are at expansion with the b200 combo. Thanks for any tips.
