Anyhow .... This most-excellent swamp-ass-band from South Illinois is coming back to MT a year later ... Small Town Stuff .. We love "Ethnic".. White Sulphur Springs and Gardiner ... Fine Montana Small Towns ....... I know the difference ...

I worked in Oil Refineries .. Ardmore OK, El Dorado AR, East Saint Louis MO, Lake Charles LA , Corpus Christie TX ... Heard some-fine Music along-the ways .

Yea that's the bass. I exchanged emails with Steve about that bass. He was cordial but I got the sense he didn't want to talk about it anymore.

Some of the repairs were done after a pretty bad accident, he has said that it never felt or sounded the same afterward. PAPATOWED-it may be that CANNONBALL RUN thang; what's behind me is not important....

Not too crazy about the underwood sound, but the character of the bass still shines through.

The 80's Walter Woods/Underwood thing is dated for sure. Not my cuppa either. Very electric thin and delicate. Sounds like a different animal with me. I don't play like him at all, he's got the goods. Chops, solos, grove, tunes...But I pull a big sound out of it. Plugged into more modern stuff it's big fat and moves a ton of air.

I wonder if the bass is bored with me yet?

I doubt that. That's not the LaSpina I know. He's barely touching the strings in the clip. I would think that would bore the Queen and even disable her sound. Not much for her to do.
