Here it is - the amp of the future!
(Apologies for my poor photoshop skills)

A digital modeling / multi-effect processor with touch screen interface and fully integrated preamp / DI / 800W power amp - all in the palm of your hand!

Basically a Kemper, Fractal, etc. with a cell phone screen attached to a very compact amp head. It'll have everything you ever wanted:
3,500 effects (up to 128 simultaneously)
Store unlimited user patches
Cab sims and IR
Bluetooth / Wi-Fi / USB connectivity
Every type of input / output connection
2 hour looper
USB audio interface
MIDI I/O / Thru
Stereo FX loop
etc.....

A optional footswitch is available.

Congrats for the concept.

It's not my personal dream - instant access to the controls with real knobs is more important for me than the ability to recall a preset. It'd rather have physical knobs for gain, EQ and master volume than a touch screen - at least if it's an amp, especially if I want to use it live.

But I used to dream about something like that. Then I tried the HX Stomp, but I finally came back to classic amps: I don't neend to change presets in the middle of the show, I need to be able to adjust the gain, or EQ instantly, without paging in the menu, or wake up a digital device in iddle mode, or fear that the touch screen doesn't work if my hands sweat.

I agree. Knobs > buttons.
Some sort of optional panel with knobs that can be assigned to various parameters would be cool - but I don't know where it could be located. Floor wouldn't work well, maybe on a stand? Maybe not.

You are probably right as bells and whistles sell, I personally hope the tech is applied to better modeling to achieve even realistic emulation of tube amp response but with simple controls.

Yeah, they generally sound really close, but not quite the same.
However, this amp will have 256 bit AD/DA conversion at 210 kHz with a dedicated modeling processor. So it'll sound really, really close, but still not quite the same.

Actually, something like this concept is sort of my dream rig, just not set up quite like that, all in one unit with a phone sized screen.

I watched a rig run down on YT a while back for a major band that I don't recall right now, and they used AxeFX with all the patches for tracks and even subsections of tracks set up, then called via MIDI and it made a lot of sense to me. Though not needed for a cover band typically, I could see it being a great way to dial in specific complex setting with a 1 button push. Add a large capable FRFR speaker and a power amp and that's what I'd like, providing the MIDI controller was large and easy to use and program with say a screen simply to display some data like the preset name, and a scroll/push button wheel to select the preset.

I know there is a lot of love on TB for digital mixing consoles but, in like with comments here, flipping through scenes to get to a channel that is feeding back still gives me panic attacks.

luckily I’m retired from live sound. Nothing like zeroing out a big mixer every night to get you over the fear of tweaking yer settings…

The perfect sci-fi amp would be a solid state head with: Volume, Gain, Bass, Mid Level, Mid Freq, Mid Q, and Treble KNOBS. Then an included footswitch to work three presets, plus Level and footswitch on/off for built-in compressor. No FX, no problem.
