The Awesome Show Off Your Amp Thread!!

Have to say I like this whole set up quite a bit. Clean, safe, protected. Sans Amp is nice, I have a rack mount Tech 21, love it. From the basses to the amp, cab, and other accessories I give this two thumbs up.

Questions:

1. What is that above the Furman? Looks like it has a key.

2. Wireless system below the BBE? Where are the antennas?

You know, that Akai and Lovetone together cost more than my entire pedalboard...and there isn't a cheap pedal on there. :)

Only thing the Akai didn't have was the original power supply so I got the Headrush just so I could have an official Akai wallwart to use with it. Man that was an expensive power supply! I couldn't live without either pedal either, the Meatball and DI that is...pure fun boxes:hyper:

I bet! The only downside to the Meatball are the hoooours of sifting through weird and wonderful sounds to find a couple for actual use :D
What I mean is that it isn't exactly a plug and play pedal :p

Here she is under my other '73 Canadian export Super Bass (the "new" one is about 130 units earlier).

that's a beautiful pair. in great condition no less.

The Marshall cabs I have as far as I know are all stock.

1935A JCM800, Bass 4x12" 280W 16Ω angled front cabinet, 4Celestion G12-65 T3101 16Ω speakers
1551 IBS, 200W 2x15" 8Ω straight cabinet, 2 Celestion 15" G15-100 16Ω 100W speakers
1553 IBS, 300W 1x15" & 2x10" 8/16Ω straight cabinet Celestion 15" S15-250 T4021 8Ω 250W SideWinder and two Celestion 10" 50W speakers

I haven't really ran the 1551 or 1553 very hard. The 800 wasn't pushing them to the levels I needed to compete against 2 1/2 stacks...but that 4x12 did the trick.

I use the older of my 2 800's (vert in's), it has better mids and highs than the horiz in's 800....but now I have that '71...:hyper:

All 3 heads run EL34s. not sure about the pre's

the 71's channel 1 (2 was sweet) was real noisy when I plugged it in for the first time last weekend, then it blew a fuse.
I have a recipt from a few weeks ago that said it had been cleaned and serviced...from a shop 60 miles away.

I also have a Marshall DBS 7400 2Ω 400w.

I need to get a supporting membership and sell some stuff.

*I listened to Exciter alot in the mid-late 80's & cut my teeth on that time period's thrash. It's cool Exciter is still active. :D
