I like mine, though I think I need something with humbuckers to cut through all my guitarist's effects...

Thanks. That is what I thought but I'm amazed at how much the bass control increases the volume. Is that because of the active electronics?Platypus_Of_420 said:volume>blend

Music stores pretty much always do a 40-50% markup. havent you ever sold some gear to a tore for $100 only to come by next week and see it for $200? Maybe it was a used one?rontalsaurus said:still, that's a rediculous price when the company lists them at $500. The big chain stores don't carry TBC and the Mom and Pops have no competition for the bass. If they're asking $900, they're intentionally ripping you off.

and i still havnt figured out the active EQ on that![]()
all active basses i've played are like that
rogerbmiller said:Oh no! I was thinking of selling my JT500SS so I could get a fretless import TBC as I thought they were coming soon.
ElBajista said:Has this company gone under? What's going on?
?I wouldn't expect too much resale value for an instrument from a company that sold them for less than a year, to minimal success, and then went under (if they are indeed going under).rogerbmiller said:No one knoes it seems. but if they do, what does everone reckon this will do to the resale value of the ones we are holding?

The seller says this is not B stock. I'm just wondering if this quality level is typical for TBC.klocwerk said:You say in your thread that they already OKed a return.
so what's your beef?
PasdaBeer said:They make a great bass for the money, excellent customer service, and very cool group of guys.
Indeed. It is back up.JNBlack said:I agree totally. My experience with TBC was great.
