For that price and with the return policy, it was an easy decision for me. Plus they're local and I got the OK ahead of time to pick the bass up. No shipping! :) Had a hard time deciding between the one I got and the MM/J. If I dig the neck/playability of this bass, I'll probably use this baby to test out some different pups I've been wanting to try (DiMario Ultra, Nordie NJ4, Sadowsky Singles).

So now I have two basses on the way - this one and a '93 L-2000 I bought from Kurisu. If I like both of 'em, I may have to let one of my other basses go. Maybe. Well, on second thought, maybe not. Okay nevermind - I'm keepin' all of 'em! :hyper:

the prices went up feb. 1st, so these prices are discounted back to the old prices. :D

And to the guy up above who bought the JJ, THANK YOU! You saved me from going into CC debt for that bass... :smug:

I just pulled the trigger on a TBC Jazz Bass as well (JT-400 JJ). Couldn't resist at that price. Anyway, for any of you who have one, can you recommend a hard case for it? I was thinking about an SKB-44, but wanted to make sure it would fit. Thanks.

You're welcome! I'm more than happy to have bought this bass so you didn't have to. :D

I just talked to Jack on the phone and I'll be meeting him Friday morning to pick up the bass. I'm hoping this one will be a little brighter sounding than my other jazz. I expect it to with that ash body. I'll let you guys know what I think...

I've owned a 4string SS. I moved from the MiM-P, and if it had the same width neck as the MiM-P it would be perfect as it usually takes me about 5min to be able to switch between the two.
