I ordered a Messina this year and I can't really get over how perfect it is. I can't think of the last time that I bought something like this and had zero buyer's remorse over it. A bass cover made by someone who has used bass covers a lot and understands how they need to be.
Email or call him, he'll give you pricing and options and make it to your order. When I got mine, I thought "oh no, it's too small!", because I had to kind of stretch it over my bass a little. Within days, it slid right on and off, but my bass doesn't move around in it at all...because it fits perfectly..which means that padding is going to work. It's not heavy, it's not stiff. Everything is balanced as it should be. Handles are right where you need them and the zippers are oriented to be on top when the bass is laying on it's ribs...which is when you access the pockets....duh...why didn't anyone else think of that?
I would do it again in a heartbeat. I don't remember the cost, I could look it up. It's not going to be the cheapest, but it's more or less within reach of anything else at the quality level. Just ask him what his price is, pick your color(s), add or delete a pocket, send him your bass measurements and get on with your long happy life.
