Now that's just greedy! BTW, would a pet store sell millipedes? I'm guessing maybe some giants.

It depends. Exotic pet stores may have them, but your best bet would be to look for people who breed them. That way, you can guarantee it's not wild caught, and it will be free of parasites and much healthier than wild caught. And most importantly, you'll know its age.

But I would suggest googling around. Since millipedes are relatively rare as pets, you may have to order them online. Other options (what I do) is attend exotic pet expos - ones that specialize in reptiles and invertebrates, and even if you can't find them there, someone is bound to refer you to a person who breeds them. The invert trade is a close-knit community, so just asking around would be your best bet. But like I said, if I knew where you lived, that would make a difference.
