It's ok members..he's called me a wit before.
SR would love ya recordings..make sure ya throw in something like River deep Mountain High or equiv..SR would love that loll I hope I can grab a couple of your recordings too. Sounds great.
Im almost back to fighting fit..I'm used to the neck ache all these years anyway and have had years to learn to live with it...needless to say I gave Mrs. Giffro (Charly) a cuddle and kiss for ya and she still calls me a pain in the neck.
Sounds like ya got ya Christmas activities sorted out in 3 weeks so best of enjoyment with that. Don't get too exited or you'll fluff ya notes.
We are off for a couple days next week so dont panic..i'll try to connect using the laptop and the country club's wifi connection..lol..and NOOOO im not playing golf..not with this neck and back lol..just staying in a country club complex with a course attached lol
No Adelaide bad fires as such, so pretty clear here, but as you say its a dry as a..well you know the old saying..so I told my missus not to get me too heated just in case. Its a tinderbox out there. She said there's not much chance of that anyway..gotta love that gal.

Well if you and Morri have swapped drivers there's no telling to where you'll end up...possible Ireland..lol If it's a Uber driver anything's possible.
So now ya got a Vox Box...no stopping ya now...you'll probably grow a Beatle hairdo next and start consulting a darn Indian Guru...as long as you stay away from yellow submarines and wandering around anywhere named penny lane you'll be right mate loll
I gotta Vox Box Too...actually 2 of them...both work well but unfortunately Im the only one that can hear me playing them...hope your Vox Box blows a lot louder than my two lol.

Wow! I read ahead a few b4 answering. Been quite a year for ya there, my friend. Good to have you back amongst us.
Not a lot new from me combo wise, other than resurrecting my Bassman 25.

I did, however, pick up a new combo hauler-2019 Ford Transit Connect.

Just correcting myself..and the English Teacher never noticed...lolll sorry but TWO VOWELS in our beloved leader's nic..got the second one..the a, but forgot the first one..i

I almost bought a Fender Bassman rig back in the 70's second hand and in good nick but couldnt get the darn cab in the boot (trunk) of my car and it was a huge boot..big enough for a family to live in..oh yeah..thats already been done...anyway GP..howdy ol chap..good to be back.

Hey Giff where ya been He Said...long story and a cracked neck vertebrae just to add to my arthritis issues..anyway Happy Thanksgiving to all you overseas CC members and Mike..lol Just checking in after a few months of double double toil and trouble. Wow I got lots of past reading to do and heaps of new members to meet..HI KIDS..there's even a lovely female addition from Canada I noted..and my age too loll..both of us with that old nemesis Arthur Ritis
So, has the teacher, aka Fearless Leader, aka iago, aka Big Mike, aka iagtrplyr been looking after all you new kids?
I'll have to fill you in on my last couple months of non-attendance there teacher..but I have a note loll
Had a nice 2 month tour around of a few different States of Oz other than my state of South Oz, without the distraction of a laptop loll, had another small op on my neck due to knocking on my back door with the top of my head after tripping on the first step and headbutting the darn wooden door.."missed the glass by that much 99" said Agent Giff. Got my NBN (Aussie National Broadband Network) connection finally sorted out and she seems to be working great now.
It seems sitting for any length of time in a seat, chair, stool, etc etc is being a literal pain in the neck since about Sept. due to the vertebra issues (I had a piece of neck bone removed in about 2006ish called a laminectomy to relieve pressure on my spinal chord..lol (cord) and the clout against the back door using my head didnt improve the neck probs....A year previously about 2005ish had a lower back disc removed and that was fun too lollll)
Anyway by some miracle it doesnt affect me standing up wearing the 4003 Ric, or the EBMM5 or the Peavey Dynabass5 or the....errrr the Peavey T-40 is a different story..it requires 1 guy to hold the body, 1 guy to Ehold the neck and me sitting on a chair between them to play the darn boat anchor loll hey you lot thinking I was talking about my body and neck NOOO I was talking about the T-40 lol
Nice to be back...WHAT'S HAPPENING???????

Seems @Giffro is a man of letters. If I ever see an amputee being hanged, I'm going to be shouting out letters. May not be possible to kill a Peavey. We might expire trying to move it, though.

And I, too, was groped by someone's Uncle Arthur Ritis. Back at the doc in about a week to see what's next. Actually I know what's next. The questions are how long I'll be put out of action, and what the "repair" will mean to me. What is certain is my friends at physical rehab may become better friends. I did drop in a few weeks ago to say hello ....
