Thanks, and the weight is strange. I have lighter cabs, but the combo feels lighter and is easy to carry.
I thought about getting a 12 combo from MB, but I know I’d rather have a little more.

Oh Scott, you never left even your combo did. It’s a lifetime membership because we all know once a combo fan always a combo fan!
That is a seriously impressive wall you have there and the gear in front of it isn’t have bad either! Enjoy.
I made a bunch of Coolie doodles once, but my teacher took away my crayons for scribbling those coolie doodles on her blackboard. I was only 6 after all lol I love making coolie doodles on my scribbling doodle pad when i'm making phone calls these days..lol coolie doodles Morri lol

Hey Scott, I decided to wade through the membership scroll and couldn't find ScottM, but did find ScottTunes, member #73. Is that you? If so, do you want me to update your name? If it's not you, I'll give you a nice, shiny new number for that Markbass combo of yours. Let me know.
Working in the lab all day, as you can see, making recordings, learning why there's too much bass in those recordings, not caring about too much bass, and now getting ready to upload some of these tunes to my buddy, Soul Reflection. I even recorded the VOX/Ampeg duo with some reggae opening. That could be my Laugh of the Year 2019. I may just post it here too because misery loves company!
I picked up another Ampeg B100r, Rocketbass. I’ve had one for years, but I gave it to my son because his band was going on tour and they needed a small bass amp. I thought I could get by with my other 6 or 7 amps. But, I was wrong. The B100R is a great amp for small gigs. It has great tone and surprising volume for a 1x15 combo.

I want that!!! Perfect wattage, a single fifteen, Ampeg tone that is almost universally loved by its owners. Shadven, may I ask ya how coin that set ya back? I’ve got to it that on my radar for 2020.

scottm, you are officially member #170, congratulations. Add this to your sig and wear it proudly. We love to get new recruits, especially if they have a wall of bass gear that includes a combo or two...or three! Keep rocking the low end...
The new rig worked well today at practice. The guys loved the tone and it was plenty loud. I'm a little surprised about it being loud enough, and very happy that it is.
Doctor, I think you're onto something there. That cabinet looks perfect for your setup. Maybe one door closed with you losing the Peavey combo, but another opened with the purchase of the Traynor. Way to go! And look at the Hofner off to the side...nice. I call it a win if anyone compliments a bass player on their tone. You've set yourself up for a great week.
My set up would likely mimic your Super Beetle head I think, so you too could get some good volume out of it with the right cab(s). Of course, the longer it was on the better it sounded!
After sending some tunes to my buddies SR and Giff, I remembered an earlier threat to assault your senses with a Reggae backing track of my Stage 800 and VOX/Ampeg rig. I decided to record those at the end and the first one wit the Stage/Jazz was decent, the second take with the Stage/Beatle bass was okay, but the third taping of the Jazz and VOX/Peg was enough to get me 10-20 in San Quentin. So I'll leave you with my gal, Nora Jones, doing a little chill as you prepare for the week. Or should I drop off The Letter by Joe Cocker to start your Monday off wit ha bang?
